The brief for this floor map was to incorporate several famous events in Chicago history with a large scale floor map. The events coincided with an interactive display asking visitors to choose the event they felt to be most deserving of a fifth star on the Chicago flag. The map had to include all of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. It also includes the major streets and rivers. At its furthest boundaries, the map measures 41 feet by 73 feet. It can be viewed in the Guild Gallery at the Chicago History Museum.
